UI:
UI stands for User Interface. UI consists of text area, buttons click on, the text they read, the images, sliders, and all the rest of the items the user interacts with. It is the interaction between human and the computer. It allows the user to effectively operate and achieve the task. UI also includes screen layout, transitions, interface animations and every single interaction that takes place. All sort of design, animation, interaction which are developed as a visual element in UI.
UI designers choose colour schemes and button shapes, the width of lines and the fonts to be used for the text and how should the application look; that is, to create the look and feel of an application’s user interface.
PRINCIPLES OF UI DESIGN:

3.User control over the interface.

UX:
UX stands for User Experience. It is the overall experience of the user while interacting with an application. It involves designing the complete process after acquiring and integrating it with design and usability and function. Applications that provide good user experience are designed not only with the usage in mind but also for the entire process of acquiring, owning and even troubleshooting it. A good user experience is one that meets a particular user’s needs in the specific context where the client uses the product.
UX DESIGN (UXD):
The concept of user-centred design takes an important stage in UX design process. UX designers will focus on crafting the application which is easy to use and understand. Before that, the designer should check if the experience is smooth or confusing. To create a viable, creative, and user-friendly design solutions, one should analyse the past experiences, research new practices, and test the designs.

HOW UI AND UX ARE INTER-RELATED?
In UI designing, the visual properties of design and the overall look and feel are done. If UX is not designed well, but UI is beautifully designed then it will end up with the bad user experience. UX looks to find solutions for the user needs, by taking into consideration the specifications needed to guide the user along the correct path. UI, is that how things function visually. It’s not just about making the looks beautiful but also helping the user down the visual path, through usability and experience.
1.User Research:
In this approach, the objectives and the specifications are grasped. Here, the requirements, workflow are analysed very carefully.
2.IA and Wireframes:
To check every single element is placed in the right order. Wireframes are generally used for linking with templates and to create high fidelity clickable prototypes.
3.Look and Feel Design:
Beautiful and innovative designs that focuses on aesthetics and gives attention on working with the visual elements like icons, shapes, illustrations, textures and exact colours.
4.User Testing:
In this approach, the evaluation of the design is done. To test the functioning and practicability of the application with a sample set of clients/users is an approach of UI/UX.
5.Delivery:
Front-End code development is done in this approach. The coding is done without any compromise in design and technical aspects.
6.Integration Support:
The technical and the back-end support will be done in this phase. THE developers need to constantly test and improve application performance to ensure that the application meets user expectations, both existing and future.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UI/UX:
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) are some of the most confused and misused terms. A UI without UX is like a painter just painting a canvas without any thought; while UX without UI is like the frame of a sculpture with no paper on it. A great application experience starts with UX followed by UI. Both are essential for the application development success.
UX design is identifying and solving the user problems and UI design is the creating intuitive and aesthetically-pleasing, interactive interfaces.
UX design is done in the application development process, followed by UI. The UX designer will map out the bare bones of the user journey; the UI designer will then fill it in with visual and interactive elements.
UX can apply to any kind of application, service, or experience; UI is specific to digital application and experiences.
